HIGHLAND LAKEs SERVICE LEAGUE
• Hill Country Community Theatre is holding its annual "Jail and Bail" fundraiser on April 24th at 5:30 at the Meadowlakes Golf Club. Tickets are $35, with $30 going directly to the theatre. Ticket includes one bar drink, plated dinner, and musical entertainment.
• The Helping Center needs kid friendly food items, including cereal and fruit bars.
• USAKids golf is seeking volunteers to assist with a tournament in May. Please talk to Carolyn Richmond if you are interested.

Grants – Merrill Laurentz discussed the redesigned grant process and provided feedback from the member survey that was collected last month. The survey results will be used as a guideline for awarding funds in the upcoming service year.
Scholarships – Brenda Eubank reminded members that April 15th is the deadline for scholarship applications. Please share this information with any lady in our community that is interested in pursuing additional educational opportunities.
Golf Tournament – The annual Charity “for ladies only” Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 29th. The theme this year will be “Black and White”. The emphasis this month is on getting all the volunteers needed to support the tournament. Contact Carolyn Richmond or Pam Parsons if you would like to volunteer. The following is still needed: Hole sitters, photography support, donations of cash and/or raffle tickets for the “your choice” raffle. It is a fun day and you don’t want to miss an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful April weather while serving a good cause.
New Member Wine and Cheese Party – A new member Wine and Cheese party will be held on Monday, May 22nd at 5:30pm at the home of Barb Robertson.
